Afrikoni charges 3% of the order value to the supplier and 3% to the buyer — 6% in total. Currency conversion of 2.5% is paid by the buyer and is never deducted from the supplier's payout. No listing fee, no subscription, no monthly minimum.
The buyer funds escrow before the supplier ships, so the money is already held during production. The supplier is paid on confirmed delivery, minus their share of the fee. Afrikoni never advances its own money and never invoices a supplier afterwards.
On fees alone, yes — selling direct has no platform fee, and any calculator that shows otherwise has an invented cost in it. What Afrikoni removes is non-payment risk. The calculator states the break-even: the share of direct-sale revenue that would have to go unpaid before protection is the cheaper channel.
